This is Dr. Ian Montie and I. We have been friends since 7th grade. It was his idea that we would both become dentists in Spanish class. I thought what a terrible idea that was at the time. Who wants to be a dentist fixing people’s teeth?

Fast forward years later, we actually both became dentists graduating from the University of Maryland Baltimore Dental School.

Just out of residency, Ian was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in his right hip. After a long battle with cancer he died peacefully in his home with his wife. Without him in my life, I probably wouldn’t have become a dentist and starting my own practice.

I would like to dedicate my office in memory of him and help others who may also be affected with osteosarcoma. For every new patient that comes to see us, we will donate to the Osteosarcoma Foundation of America to help fund research for a cure.
